One unbelievably LONG post

I hope you've got a comfortable chair and something to drink, this is a long post. I've gone back to the end of May and finished with an early Father's Day for Michael's dad.

The last week of school was really short for Tanner. We got an amazing deal at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine and jumped on it. It meant missing 2 days of school but thought it was worth it.

This is the only picture I got of the water park. Yes, I wanted more pictures, especially of the kids playing, but the thought of keeping up with them and a camera in all the water didn't sound all that "fun".

The walls were amazing. Painted tree murals everywhere.

Lobby of the Great Wolf. Water park is over to left, you can see the large windows.

Tanner wouldn't take one with me....and I even bribed.

Leaving.....and dreading the drive home. Ainsley doesn't ride well these days.

What a way to end a trip, huh? The guy driving this car ran off the road, hit the metal cables dividing the highway and ended up sideways on the freeway. We were hit with flying debris....as we were headed the opposite direction. An experience I could have lived without.

Had the Yukon appraised today.....finally. Have to have a new hood and grill. Not sure what other damage has been done inside the hood....can't get it open. Fun stuff!

I snagged this picture before he jumped on the bus.....for his last day of 2nd grade. : (

Award for all A's & B's this school year. WHOO HOO!! A classmate of his received an award for perfect attendance, for the last 3 years! Seriously, who does that? Wonder what her momma feeds her!?

The BEST big brother ever! Not only did he want Ainsley to sit on his lap but he fed her his ice cream. Need me a spoon....I could eat both of 'em right up!!

This is just insane! We haven't even "officially" started summer.

Root beer float to celebrate another school year. Coulda swore I just dropped him off for Kindergarten, and now.....we'll be starting 3rd grade in the fall! UGH

My happy place....sweet ice tea! YUM!!!

Since the last day of school happened to be Michael's birthday as well, we had dinner at Spring Creek BBQ. Those who know my husband would not have been surprised by his choice. Is it possible to have BBQ sauce runnin' through your veins?! ; o

SURPRISE!!! Michael's mom slipped a "40" birthday balloon on his chair when he went to the restroom. Completely took him by surprise. SO fun! : )

We had lunch with all of Michael's family at Pappadeux for lunch on Sunday. Tanner went home with Nannie and Pa afterwards and is still there tonight. It's been really quite here the last 2 days....I don't like it one bit!!

Ainsley trying to snag Aunt Cathy's "pretties".

One other thing to add before I finish this record breaking post. Remember last week when I said I was swamped with dress orders? Well, I was contacted by this sweet lady from Florida who is opening up a girls boutique and wanted to know if I'd be willing to provide her with dresses. Totally caught me off guard and blew me away! WOW! I am grateful for the opportunity and have enjoyed the chaos! I have finished up 2 orders for her as of today and am working on the 3rd. In all I've sent her 17 dresses in the last 3 weeks. Amazing to think that a 2 months ago I was questioning if this is what I was suppose to be doing. I know that it isn't always this clear but the power of prayer is definitely obvious here. : )
