Ainsley is one smart little stinker! She moves her stool to the kitchen counter and grabs whatever food (cheese is her fave) is within her little arms length. And today, she used my canning wand to give herself a little shower. I now have the water/ice dispenser locked. This girl keeps me on my toes......and a smile on my face. : )

A few weeks ago we started our Spring garden. It's still early in the season but we have a lot of growth and I'm excited! Am hoping this years crop is better than last.

Oh happy day.....

Today started out rough. Nothing major happened. Just one of those days that you wish you could go back to bed and start all over again. You know what I'm talking about, right? So, I was really needing a pick me up tonight and that's exactly what I got. I have been in a lot of prayer lately about whether God wants me to persue my sewing business or is it meant to be a hobby. I've asked for a sign and that may have just come in an email tonight. I had 2 orders placed this evening for dresses. I was completely surprised and caught off guard! Isn't that the way God works though? What a wonderful way to end the day! : )

I'm feeling the blue fever....

I have been on the prowl the last 2 weeks looking for the perfect patch of bluebonnets. Am hoping we'll find more the next couple of weeks but wanted to snag a few pictures, just in case my plan backfires on me!

Happy Spring Y'all!!!

Spring Break----Post 2

Sunday afternoon and spur of the moment we decided to eat dinner and head to the park. The weather was amazing and I couldn't stand spending our last few hours of spring break inside.

What an awesome way to end Spring Break!

Spring Break----Post 1

Friday Michael took off so we could take the kids out strawberry picking. In previous years we've gone to one out in Plantersville, but haven't been happy with them the last 2 years. So, we took a trip out to Alvin this year. Yep, it's a good drive, but oh so worth it! The berries are awesome and they have a little farmers market there as well. And honey if the strawberries weren't enough to get ya out there......they have fried pies!!! Golly those things were heaven! I promise I could've eaten another one myself! Am contemplating another trip for the strawberries.....just so I can get my hands on another one of them pies!

Pure sweetness!!!

St. Patrick's Day

What is it about red heads and green that just look so stinkin' adorable?!

Oh, so in need of a haircut! For the record I took care of it Sunday night. ; )

YUMMY!!!!

I am ashamed that y'all are seeing my closet like this. I have tried to keep it organized and clean but that sweet girl of ours LOVES shoes. I have learned it keeps her occupied and happy, so for now, I will try and control my need to have it nice and neat. Any takers on long I'll leave it like this?

A step forward

I did it! I 've been praying and finally took a leap of faith. What may you ask am I rambling about? Do you remember the times I posted pictures on the clothes I had sewn for Ainsley? I have come to realize that I am addict to my sewing machine and to fabric. Seriously I wasn't kidding. You ought to see my closet! First step is admitting you have a problem, right? Ha! Moving on. I have started an Etsy shop and have officially (as of today) filed my paperwork for a Texas Sales Tax number. I am really excited about this and have SO many plans running through my little head. :-o
I'll try and keep you posted on the progress. Please stop by the shop and tell me what you think! I'd love to hear your comments.
Spring Break officially starts here tomorrow afternoon! Can't wait to have that sweet boy of mine home for the next week!
Hope you all have a great one!
