Slow Down

Ainsley has been trying to pull herself up, but hasn't really tried until yesterday. She can low crawl like nobody's business (some of you may call it the army crawl, but since we only have a Marine here.....well, you get the point). If you've left it on the floor it's fair game. Do have to admit it's helped with getting Tanner to keep his stuff picked up. : )

Yes, she was proud of herself.

Some of my pictures have turned out awful lately. Won't even begin to tell you how I feel about that!! Well, that problem have been FIXED!! Yea! Will fill you in more on that soon. Am super excited.

Ainsley has had her 2 teeth for awhile now, but trying to get a picture of her smiling, has been somewhat of a challenge.

Walk with me

Tuesday after Tanner got home from school (and after homework) all four of us took a walk down to the park. It is SO nice having a good park within walking distance. The weather was perfect.

I think it's time to get the boy a new bicycle. He looks a bit too big, or is it because it's a small bike? Yeah, it's the latter. : )

Ainsley's first time in a swing. Outside one that is.

Totally enjoyed herself. I'm telling you we haven't found anything that this girl doesn't relish.

Can't believe I'm posting this picture, white legs and all. Mine not Ainsley's. Am needing some much Vitamin D! Ha

These things are crazy. Thought I was gonna fall flat on my butt when I finally got off. The boys certainly had a few laughs.

LOVE this picture. They are both heaven sent!!!

Look at those legs! Could they possibly be any longer?

A Texas Tradition

Oh, how we Texans love our bluebonnets. We will drive across another county (any honey, in Texas that can be one long ride) just to find the perfect spot to take pictures. With that being said I guess you could say we cheated this year. You see Ainsley isn't the best car rider these days and no one wants to drive 1 1/2 hours listening to a screaming baby. So, we drove 3 minutes down the road. It's not at all what I had in mind and I won't lie and say I was happy with it. Mainly because I had it in my head what we were going to do.
There's always next year, right?

Jail Bird

While attempting to take a shower this morning, I heard an alluring sound coming from the bedroom. Gotcha, didnt I? It was Ainsley babbling. Not so much the sweet baby noises! It was the I'm mad and I want out NOW!!! Guess I'll have to try sticking her in the bah tub with blankets again (without water).

Opening Day 2010

This year we stayed at home for the Opening game.....bummer!!!

Ainsley is fascinated with the cats. She gets all excited when they come around. This particular picture is her talking to Nicki. HILarious!! She has herself a personality already! Uhm.....kinda reminds me of her daddy.

Tanner was all pumped about the game. He wore his Astros tee to school on Monday. He is quite the budding artist and loves to draw. He surprised me with a baseball picture he drew. Oh, that boy is SO sweet! YUM!!!

Peanut hanging out watching the game while we ate. Don't worry she ate earlier. Didn't think I'd let her go with out did you? ; )

Let's see what was on tap for dinner? Hot dogs (with homemade chili....because you know how I am about preservatives and TRANS Fat. Did you that it's plastic pellets? Just asking!!) onion rings, peanuts and cracker jack. Not exactly one of my healthiest meals meals, but hey, it was baseball night.

7 Months

This little girl has rocked our world from day one. Baby girl, we love you and are blessed everyday. Your captivating smile and oh those eyes. We could write a book on those alone.

Yes, I realize this picture is sideways! Don't think I didn't try everything I could to "straighten" it up. Crooked it or not, I had to add it.

Colored Eggs?

Easter 2010

I love it that he doesn't think he's "too old" to egg hunting out in the front yard!!

This lovely fellow is "Gator". I'd say it's a pet, but that's takin' it a bit far. My father-in-law has befriended him. He feeds him meat off of a stick, yes, I said it. You don't have to go back and re-read. Go ahead and shiver, I do everytime I think about it.

This picture was taken out at the old house. It's where Curtis (Michael's dad) grew up.

The purple stuff you see in the trees is wisteria. Please tell me that you heard of it before! Oh honey, if you haven't you are missing out one one of life's simple pleasures!! The smell is intoxicating, only thing is it attracts all kinds of flying pesky creatures.
