Happy Father's Day

I had Father's Day weekend all planned out.....or so I thought. Friday night I fixed chicken parmesan for dinner (one of Michael's fav's). And on Sunday the plan was to hit a steak house in Houston. I had made reservations 6 days in advance. We showed up at 12p only to find out someone made a mistake and they weren't taking reservations for Father's Day. I controlled those raging pregnancy hormones and we headed down the road for some fabulous mexican food. Know what that wonderful husband of mine said? "As long as I'm with my family...that's what makes me happy". Ahhhh.....gotta love 'em! Happy Father's Day!! We love you!!!

Double Feature

Last weekend we drove out to the drive-in movie theatre.....a new experience for us! Tanner had a lot of fun! Steph and her family came too! The kids hopped back and forth between vehicles. We saw UP and then stayed for Night at the Museum 2.

Made just for You

We finally ordered Tanner a "Big Brother" t-shirt. He was so excited about getting his shirt. He put it on before we even left the store!! I know he's gonna be an AWESOME big brother to his little sister......even if he says he doesn't want one! : )

Blueberry Heaven

For us summertime is officially here when we finally get to go pick blueberries.....we've been going for 5 years now. Wow! Tanner's request every morning from now until August is "blueberry pancakes". Of course we end up having a few blueberry crumbles too! YUM!!!

Daddy and Tanner end up eating more than they put in their buckets.....no wonder it takes us so long to get done picking! ; )

Graduation!!!!

The kids sang several songs. Tanner really enjoyed the Itsy Bitsy Yellow Polka Dot Bikini.

Shoes.....and bikinis?

Let me explain why I chose this title. On Sunday we celebebrated June birthdays at Small Group. And since that handsome husband of mine is turning 3* this week....well, that made him an easy target! : ) Michael has been very open and honest about his fears....now that we are having a little girl. So, some very near and dear friends of ours (who could that be???) decided to give him a size 0/3 months bikini and the shoes too...of course! Needless to say he was speechless (even if it was just for a second.....how often does that happen?). I found myself laughing so hard i had tears!!

I have posted a picture of the shoes. Sorry, no bikini... don't think I could've gotten away with showing that one off! You know we love you Michael!!! Happy Birthday! I LOVE YOU!!!
