Field Day 2010

Yesterday was 1st grade field day. This is Tanner's friend Eva. We were told many times " she picked me to be her partner". Sweet. : )

Be warned! This post is long. I sit here with Kleenex at one side and sweet tea on the other, all the while still sneezing and sniffling. Since Saturday I might add. You see there is a plether of cedar trees at Great Pa & Ma's place in Dime Box. But what you don't know is I'm severely allergic (poor Tanner seems to have picked up that not-so nice quality of mine) to those stinkin' trees. No, really I don't think you understand how serious I am. I have been doped up on allergy meds since we got home, was running fever last night and when I talk, let's just say that I'm sounding a bit manly these days. Lovely! Go ahead and laugh. I'm use to it.

This was at the beginning of the morning. After all was said and done we had 15 of these buckets. Yes, those are 5 gallon buckets. We had potatoes runnin' outta our ears!

These pictures are a tad old. Once again I fell off the blogger wagon. Yes, I know shame on me. Surely don't know what has been distracting me! ; )

This sweet banana pepper was quite yummy! Since these pictures were taken we have also picked a handful of cherry tomatoes. Maybe I'll remember to snag a picture of the next one. I said I'd try. Wouldn't advise holding your breath on that one though. Haha

1st grade field trip

Tanner had his first grade field trip yesterday to 7 Acre Wood. If you remember this is where we went last year.

He had a blast. Wish I could have chaperoned this year. Really missed out....he came home telling all kinds of stories. Glad you had a blast Boog! Loves you!!

Remember 2 weeks ago when I was grumbling because of my camera screwing up? Well, problem fixed!! The UPS man brought my new toy today. This is my Mother's Day gift. Along with anniversary, birthday and Christmas.

Mother's Day 2010

Saturday we had Baby Dedication at church. It was really nice. Michael's mom and dad came out, along with both sisters. Steph, Josh and the kids came too. Ainsley had her own cheering section in the auditorium. So sweet of everyone to come out! After service we all headed out to eat. Yep, all 17 of us. Was a late night getting home, but so worth it!!

So proud of my two babies. They are my life. I love you both more than you'll ever know.

She likes to move it, move it

Boy, a lot can change in 1 week. Nothing is off limits to this girl. She has discovered the stairs and can get herself up a few of them. Have I put up the gate yet? Nope, because she isn't out of my sight long enough to get too far. Besides who likes to feel fenced in? I know there will come a day that I will have to put it up, but not today.
